WTJ attorneys Timothy L. Thompson and Jacob Sarabian successfully represented a prominent real estate developer against a claim by a sub-contractor arising from the redevelopment of the Historic Rowell Building to become the new offices for the Fresno Co. District Attorney’s office. The sub-contractor sued the developer contending it was owed additional monies on the parties’ agreement. The developer cross-complained for damages arising from the sub-contractor’s failure to perform pursuant to the construction schedule set forth in the parties’ agreement. After a two-week jury trial, the jury found in favor of WTJ’s client, both denying relief on the sub-contractor’s affirmative claims and awarding the developer monetary damages on its cross-complaint. As the prevailing party, WTJ’s client will be seeking and recovering their attorney’s fees.

As the prevailing party, WTJ’s clients will be seeking their attorney’s fees.
