Prior to joining WTJ, Joe practiced law in three geographical regions within California over the course of thirty years, which afforded him opportunities to litigate matters in numerous state, federal, and appellate courts throughout California. He is admitted to practice in all California State Courts and all U.S. District Courts in California, as well as in the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. For the last two decades, Joe has been a litigation partner in a Central Valley law firm specializing in all aspects of civil business litigation and public entity law. He has handled an array of legal matters, with emphasis on commercial business litigation, civil rights, employment, administrative appeals and writs, professional liability, construction defect, and personal injury. Recently his practice has focused on representing public entity clients.
Outside of work, Joe enjoys spending time with his family, engaging in outdoor activities such as hiking, kayaking, golfing, and studying art history.
